      Pros

      I like the entrepreneurial, solutions-based, consultative approach that Purolator International takes with their customers. Each customer is treated and supported uniquely based on their Canadian distribution objectives. This extraordinary focus on the customer starts at the top of the organization with executives who personally interview all management hires and are in tune with front-line challenges through frequent employee engagement surveys and results.

      Cons

      Purolator International is a quickly growing, performance-driven Company. There are high expectations of every employee and if you are looking to "lay low" or "hide out" for a few months this is not the place for you. If you want to be challenged, rewarded, and recognized for achieving aggressive goals, you should highly consider a position with PI.

      Thank you for taking the time to post and I appreciate your feedback. With regards to training and skill development, we closed out Q4 with training programs targeted towards our sales, operations and customer service teams and rolled out a new sales management program which commences in January '15. We continue to seek opportunities to develop and acquire training content which can be delivered both live and virtually.

      Pros

      Purolator International has and continues to experience growth which presents opportunities for advancement. Expectations are high given the results oriented culture though individuals who are able to both demonstrate job skill competency and a positive...can-do attitude are rewarded.

      Cons

      Training and formal skill development programs are hadn't been offered consistently throughout the company. New resources have been deployed in early '14 to start addressing this need. Given the rapid growth, current and prospective employees need to embrace a continuously changing and improving environment. The environment is not ideal for those who are not comfortable or supportive of change.

      Pros

      Many employees really care and want to see this work. Small environment allows you to shine when you excel. Parent company in Canada appears to be solid.

      Cons

      Upper management has lost touch with the necessary tools that are needed to keep accounts. They have lost touch with the daily situation and its not getting better.
