Restructure, Restructure and Restructure!!
Pros
Purolator is training and providing skillset to make individuals extremely successful in their future careers outside of the company. On the manager side, they teach people how not to treat others. When individuals leave they know how it feels to be disrespected and learn never to make others feel that way.
Cons
Some are compensated well for their roles, and others are cheated on base pay/bonus; depends on how much you know and who your direct manager is. You can only receive a good performance review if you direct manager "likes you". There is a lot of talk about people, yet the reality is everyone is treated as a number. When you're number is up you are restructured; internally anyone with over 10 years of seniority knows they don't have much time left. Not if, but when you are restructured, at first you feel sorry for yourself and angry; then you feel great that you're no longer there and terrible for the good people "whom are left behind".
