Lots of hard work = Great pay!

-potential 6 figure salary -you can take a vacation whenever you choose -work independently, at your own pace/be your own boss -unionized -the exercise/walking is good for physical and mental health

Cons

-no sick days -no pension -no vacation days -have to hire and train a relief driver for you to take a vacation -long hours during peak season -can be hard on the body (you are basically an athlete, you have to eat, sleep & train right, & stretch to recover)

As long as you stay out of the politics and you do not challenge status quo where ego's are always right, you'll be fine.

Cons

Regardless of how much you know, it's best to let Senior leadership feel they are the king of their world. If you bruise the wrong ego you will place a target on your back for the mass layoffs.
