Pros
The pay is high and overtime is abundant
Cons
Safety is of least concern to supervisors, the problem with the safety supervisor position is they typically last a year to two years and always quit. The top management likes to put employees and even floor supervisors into situations that they arent prepared for and punish them when the situation goes awry. Previous reviews have mentioned harassment from floor managers, aa well as a particularly nasty bully in the forge dept. This is all true and it creates a hostile environment for everyone. At any point this supervisor can come on the floor and manufacture an issue to bring to management. Be prepared for this same supervisor to curse at you and threaten you physically. Other managers are simply phoning in the work, which as mentioned before can create issues. If you are a new hire, never report any injury to any management they would rather walk you out than address the issue. Processes are often run and finished with no documentation of said processes. This company across my (more than 10) years working has had and lost several lawsuits against current and former employees as they like to test the knowledge of employees of their own rights as workers. If you do take this job, enjoy the money, but keep another foot out of the door as there are other places that will respect you more and pay you just as well
