Pros

The pay is high and overtime is abundant

Cons

Safety is of least concern to supervisors, the problem with the safety supervisor position is they typically last a year to two years and always quit. The top management likes to put employees and even floor supervisors into situations that they arent prepared for and punish them when the situation goes awry. Previous reviews have mentioned harassment from floor managers, aa well as a particularly nasty bully in the forge dept. This is all true and it creates a hostile environment for everyone. At any point this supervisor can come on the floor and manufacture an issue to bring to management. Be prepared for this same supervisor to curse at you and threaten you physically. Other managers are simply phoning in the work, which as mentioned before can create issues. If you are a new hire, never report any injury to any management they would rather walk you out than address the issue. Processes are often run and finished with no documentation of said processes. This company across my (more than 10) years working has had and lost several lawsuits against current and former employees as they like to test the knowledge of employees of their own rights as workers. If you do take this job, enjoy the money, but keep another foot out of the door as there are other places that will respect you more and pay you just as well

Pros

I like my boss, he is a great guy. Thats is the only nice thing I can say about this place.

Cons

Lets see...hourly employees get 2 weeks vacation a year, you cannot carry it into the next year. They do not pay you if they close for inclement weather and tell you to either use PTO, make up the time, or take it unpaid. Ready for the kicker??? Salaried employees..unlimited sick time, unlimited vacation...yep you read that correctly...and they work 9/80 schedule meaning 9 hour days fo 9 days and then they get every other Friday off. So lets calculate this. 26 Fridays off, plus unlimited vacation, and unlimited sick days for salaried employees. But ready for managements logic?!?! Hourly employes GET to work overtime. Yeah because thats what we want, we want to work MORE hours and have less time off. The sites are micromanaged by the corporate office. Corporate is unnapproachable, unprofessional, and down right rude.

Pros

- Good Benefits - Fair Compensation

Cons

- Management singles out employees in front of everyone if they make an mistake - Constant behind the back talking about current and past employees that was randomly brought up in conversation. - Would nitpick over very minor details that weren't effecting the process of projects - Asking questions about how to do things was considered making mistakes
