Pros

Generous PTO but PTO is used for holidays too

Cons

Everything seems to be reactive instead of proactive especially with high turn over. Work was continually dumped on my to makeup for those leaving with no to little training on the processes

As you noted, we offer a generous annual PTO accrual, which includes holidays, enabling folks to take the days off, including holidays, that are most meaningful to them.
