Pros

I've been working as a self-employed graphic designer for almost a decade when the opportunity to join the Qnomy as a lead UI/UX designer knocked. The conceptual change of becoming employed and answering to others was frightening to say the least. When I first came in for my interview with the CEO and the professional studio staff I could immediately tell that the work atmosphere at Qnomy is different then I envisioned. The management and staff were both professional and extremely friendly with me and among themselves. It seemed that the management has high regards to the staff's opinions and indeed, it was the staff's decision (backed by the management) to decide to hire me for the proposed position. For the past 3 years I hold the position of lead UI/UX designer and XSLT coder. I had very little experience in coding or UI/UX when I first started here and I am glad that the company has seen the potential in me and decided to provide me with all the necessary tools to learn and perfect the required skills to do what I do. The Qnomy studio designs and codes interactive kiosks and infopages for the largest companies in major business branches such as: Banks, Telecommunications, Health, Municipal and Governmental and countless more… My opinion matters and is always considered, albeit not always accepted, and it has been this way even when I was new and inexperienced in my field. • Friendly co-workers • Comfortable work atmosphere • Company is willing to invest in staff's education for the benefit of both employee and employer • Management has their eyes and ears out for the employee's professional needs as well as private matters • Work hours are somewhat flexible; as long as your projects are completed under pre-defined deadlines, employees are free to arrange their schedule so that it conforms their private needs

Cons

• Not enough "out-of-office" activities for staff benefit • Salary is fair, no more

Pros

Fast paced environment where you are challenged to learn. If you are anywhere near decent you will be given very large responsibilities very quickly. This is mainly because they are so poorly run that they involve everyone in everything.

Cons

This is the type of company that will hire you and get everything out of you before getting rid of you. They involve you in very high level projects but do not give you the recognition for them. They promote very quickly but they are hollow promotions that do not come with a raise and are never made formally. The owner is definitely a control freak. They will hire you and then make you do spot presentations for the various vp's, cfo's, ceo's etc etc. All the while making sure you know that if you dont perform they will let you go. They will promote people then change their titles a few weeks later.Titles change all the time. The core group of talent they had outside of their Israel office has all left. They will screw any decent sales person out of their commission. They have no problem lying to their clients and have no ethics. All the real decision making and control rests in Israel. There was so much politics and backdoor deals going on that's it was impossible to know who to trust and it was an awful environment to work in if you were looking for any career path. The only people that stay are the ones that are over-payed for their jobs but know how to play the politics and do as they are told.

Pros

I came on board with Qnomy after working for few years for a different software company. It was quite a change...for the better. First of all, the company has a great product and some amazing customers, most of which are large size organizations (Banks, Telecom Retailers, Hospitals and Government Agencies). Beyond that, the management is very open and attentive to its employees. Per my request, I got to travel to customers across 3 continents, gained top notch experience and am quite honored to recommend Qnomy, first and foremost for it's unique group of individuals. Qnomy's main product is a software suite called, Q-flow, for managing customer-centric processes, including Appointment Scheduling module, Customer Flow Management module, and additional optimization tools

Cons

..Getting used to being trusted with some major responsibilities, almost overnight...
