Extremely bright peers, competitive salary, possibility to move within company, location, parking, occasional food and events.

Cons

Focus on project quantity over quality, poor middle management with no leadership skills, condescending and unprofessional employees with seniority, recognition based on seniority and not skill, no work-life balance involving long work hours and weekends, overworked employees with bad attitudes, micro-management, granular hour tracking, unbalanced workloads across departments, obsession with metrics but no actual research or analysis into them, no attempt to improve poor or nonexistent processes, lack of documentation, no accountability.

Cons

Q2 is actively laying off excellent employees and off shore hiring in India and Mexico. What’s worse is that this isn’t being acknowledged. Many people did not get raises this year, and for those who did, it wasn’t very much. HR is corrupt and discriminatory.

If you, Thrive in a toxic environment. Love being micromanaged by people who are incompetent and condescending (a delicious combination). Don't have a problem with passive-aggressive managers who deliberately set out to destroy anyone who has the nerve to push back. Don't care about the customers or product (this is required). Then, Q2 is the place for you!
