Pros

The insurance premiums are cheap, there are no parking problems, occasional free food, bank holidays off, pretty average PTO, swanky office building.

Cons

This is just a pretty weird place to work. Everyone who's been there more than 5 years never stops talking about how they've "seen it all" and how new employees "just can't begin to understand" Q2's history, as if it's been around for 100 years. I've actually worked for 50+ year old company employing multiple generations of families and those people had much less sense of ownership and superiority than you see with a 5-6 year "veteran" at Q2. There's also huge problem of subtle sexism here, at least in the sales department. I had a female coworker ask for a title change and she was literally laughed out of her (male) superior's office. A male coworker under the same manager asked for a title change around the same time and his request was honored within 2 business days. I've seen female coworkers (whose roles are in no way that of personal or administrative assistants) asked to heat up their (male) boss's lunch or order food for the sales people for seemingly no other reason than that they are female. If only you could talk to HR about these things... Except the HR department here absolutely does not care. They seem to have very little idea about what's going on at the company. This could be much improved with more focus on employee benefits and less focus on passing out stickers reminding you to "pay attention" to remote employees (boo hoo, you get to work from home everyday?). There are some serious issues with professional practices. I had a coworker fired in the middle of the day and without having yet even told anyone on his team that he had been let go, HR came over to his desk and asked his own coworkers to start packing up his desk in the middle of the day. That was a bit disturbing. So, I'd avoid Q2 if you could.

Pros

New office, free snacks, weight room

Cons

Very poor management leadership and direction, very questionable financial practices, sexual harassment cover-up. Deciding to open up some since I see others have come out as well. I'm calling Q2's bluff on their threats when I left and letting the good people know about some very sketchy business practices they keep covering up. I am aware of at least 3 incidents where kickbacks to upper management occurred. Sexual harassment has occurred many times through my employment there. Promotions for strategic position are unfair; many times given to friends, relatives, or decided on personal likeness rather than what's best for the company. Their treatment of women unfair; less pay than men and always on the lookout for sexual harassment. Winning contracts or renewals are by very unethical practices (kickbacks, threats). Nepotism is high as well.

Pros

I've been at Q2 for more than 4 years and have had my fair share of ups and downs. I will say my overall experience is positive. Q2 tries hard to keep their employees engaged. They have quarterly town halls, Company Picnics, Quarterly produced video, Departments outings, Employee appreciation events, and culture oriented committees. Its hard to maintain culture when there has been 500+ employees join in the last 4 years. I believe Q2 does everything it can to maintain it's past culture. Even though I started Q2 at a low salary, I have been compensated for my hard work during my tenure. Employees are always willing to help you understand the product and process. Free Swag, Cheap food/drinks, Great office,

Cons

Some departments are very dysfunctional, Sometimes its hard to disconnect from the fast paced environment, it feels like upper management is disconnected from employees. Q2 has lost a few great employees due to politics and poor compensation.
