Some of the engineers there are low skilled, miserable, gassed up won't leave because they're clinging to stock options. They'll thwart any effort you have to get ahead because they subscribe to hero culture and think they're the only heroes. Everyone else is considered "learners" or lower level even if their title and experience say otherwise. Good luck trying to change anything and/or do the job you're used to as a key contributor with people playing politics trying to subvert you.
