Pros

QTS is poised for long-term growth as its business sits at the intersection of cloud evolution and the ongoing creation of massive amounts of data by nearly every company in the US. The spirit of innovation runs throughout the organization and employees are empowered and enabled to excel at their jobs. In addition, I have never worked at a company that cares more about its employees from top to bottom than QTS.

Cons

QTS continues to enhance its overall benefits package for employees, but still has room to improve. The recent discounted ESPP was a welcomed addition!

Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I'm glad to see you are excited about our growth and the opportunities that creates for our employees and customers. I hope you took the benefits survey recently. Input from that survey will help drive future offerings. Shweta Bhatia, Director, People Services Operations

We hope you're still getting paid, but not sure you can escape stupid people. We like to believe we have fewer than most :) Thanks. Jana Moore, Director of Talent Acquisition

Pros

Some good people that try really hard but generally get stymied by lackluster middle-management and completely disconnected upper management.

Cons

QTS is really a second/third tier player in both the data center and managed hosting/cloud markets. Their data centers are decent but usually in smaller tier 2 cities. The managed services and cloud offers are a disaster. There is virtually no innovation at the product level. Compliance is a disaster. Pay is sub-par compared to the industry Benefits are almost laughable. Terrible health insurance. Employee stock program with no employee discount!!! What is the point? Etrade anyone? The Carpathia acquisition made everything worse. Carpathia employees had chips on their shoulders because they couldn't cash-in on getting purchased.
