Pros

-Good pay and work-life balance -Great office culture -Up and coming industry -Gives back to the community -Job security -New leadership -Great PTO package -I enjoy my team, who I work with, and coming in everyday

Cons

-With data centers being in the news/power utility pressures/social concerns, TBD on how QTS will handle this to be a benefit to the country/be responsible for its impact. New leadership.

We're happy to hear you're enjoying QTS Duluth! We take environmental/social concerns very seriously, and it's always at the forefront when taking-on new projects. Our #FreedomDesign involves water-free cooling systems and carbon-free energy sources. We want to enhance the prosperity of communities and be a responsible leader while fueling our digital economy. Pros

They give you a lot of schwag

Cons

Constantly understaffed on purpose it seems. I moved departments and there was no proper training and that department was understaffed. Always say they are doing great and making boatloads of money but they pay well below industry standard. Site I worked at constantly played Fox News on TV's around the facility. Did awkward prayers at gatherings as they are a religious company. Despite that they are hypocritical and do things that go against contracts with customers and then expect the employees to lie to customers about said contract violations. Facility I worked at had many major failing cooling systems with no effort to actually fix the problem. Lastly they will have some corporate person come out of nowhere to randomly change processes that only benefit the company and make life harder on the employees. As many other have said, there is no work/life balance because they are constantly understaffed where it counts.

Thank you for leaving a review and being a part of the QTS team! We work hard to offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that reflects our commitment to QTSers’ well-being and success. While each location has its own unique dynamic, we’re proud of the strong people-centered culture we’ve built in Ashburn. With multiple sites in the area, our teams actively engage in initiatives that foster connection & community— such as the weekly breakfasts & frequent volunteerism. Recently, our Ashburn team was honored with the “Loudoun Cares Award” by the Loudon Hunger Relief Inc. for our volunteerism efforts, which speaks to the servant leadership we strive to cultivate. We appreciate your feedback; it helps QTS continue to grow and improve!
