Pros

The culture here is amazing. As a new person, to have 15-20year tenured employees treat me with respect and patience is amazing. Everyone is willing to help and while we are urgent to get things done, manners and ethics are never missing. Great people.

Cons

Nothing besides I wish I could work with all my coworkers face to face in person since everyone is so nice but we have a big footprint so we have teams all over.

We are so glad that you are enjoying the QTS culture. Our culture encompasses the expectation that it's not just about what gets done, but also about HOW it gets done. This is just one of the many ways that make QTS so unique. We come alongside each other in a collaborative, supportive manner that ensures we meet our accountabilities to each other, our teams, customers, and stakeholders. We'll continue working to crack the code on the right communication cadence and please reach out to your leadership should you ever have questions or need clarification.

Pros

*CEO seems sincere in caring for employees *Executive Management is visible and frequently communicates to the company (minimum quarterly) *QTS continues to expand its portfolio and will do so for the forseeable future. *Employee retention and expansion is still greater than employee turnover. *QTS isn't against "creating" jobs for those that show potential and where a job doesn't yet exist which allows for upward and lateral movement across the company. *Recently implemented a generous, flexible Work-From-Home (WFH) Policy for employees who aren't in site-critical roles.

Cons

*At QTS, it's easy to never interact with anyone outside of your "team", either on-site or off-site, if you don't make an effort to actively engage anyone else in the company. Each site within QTS is different and assumes its own culture and social engagement with colleagues may be wanting depending on where you work.

Thank you for highlighting a few attributes that make QTS such a special place to work! Many of our QTSers enjoy visiting other QTS locations so that they can experience uniqueness within each site - though grounded by the same QTS Core Values. Slack has been a great tool to encourage employees to interact with each other on work topics as well as those topics that are interesting to each individual, outside of work.
