Pros

Good people with a lot of Potential and hard working

Cons

The Senior Managment are out of touch. Promotions are based on the buddy system and not on output. People in VP Level and above positions are being promoted that have no background or experience to lead. Senior Management is slow to respond and it just keeps getting worse. I have no confidence that this company will succeed....

Pros

The global surge in AI is drastically increasing the need for data center solutions. While tech companies appear unstable at times, the data center industry's exponential growth may offer reassurance for long-term stability in tech careers. Most new employees come from outside the industry, bringing a unique/fresh perspective and transferrable skills that will add value. We have the tools and resources to be successful. QTS is considered a leader in DC space, and employees are in high-demand from competitors.

Cons

Some of the tenured leaders are too busy being in the weeds and failing to make an impact on the big picture. Unprecedented growth results in gaps across all areas of the business. Consistent missteps in cross-functional communication/partnership result in work that mimics stop and go traffic. Competitors are targeting key-players across the business. We have an abundance of resources that aren't being used effectively.

Thank you for the constructive feedback! We appreciate your honesty and passion for QTS. You've raised some important points, and we're listening. In People Services, we've recently launched a handful of project teams aimed at improving partnership and communication across the business. Company-wide, we've built some momentum towards addressing ongoing growing pains. It's a work in progress, but we're committed to doing our best! We know that sustainable success means stepping back, evaluating what's working, and embracing change. Our leadership team frequently asks the hard questions about scalability, resource use, and how to create a culture that retains and empowers our people. Thank you for the reminder and we will continue to not shy away from these questions!

Pros

They offer gray learning opportunity as the company continues to grow and ask the employees to assist with low resources.

Cons

They ask for people to posh themselves to make QTS successful and commit more than they should. However, months and years later doing jobs above current title and compensation are not rewarded to that individual. Promotions are not controlled by the manager but by the C level in charge of the teams. It is a company where it is better to leave and come back in order to be paid your worth.

QTS has been on a tremendous growth path over the past 20 years, focused on serving our employees, customers and communities. We have been diligent in creating programs and offerings to not only support our employee but also their families throughout this journey. A few of these to note include our dedicated learning and development team, holistic total rewards offerings, and bi-annual performance, compensation, and promotion cycles to reward employees commensurate with performance against our annual and iterative performance management cycles. Any fast pace, high growth organization will have growing pains, and we are proud to focus our hiring and retention efforts around talent that aligns with our core values and servant leadership culture.
