Business Outlook
Pros
The 24x7 e-Commerce driven pace, rapid changes in products, customer promotions, business strategies and technology. Most of the employees are approachable, open to new ideas, and very collaborative. It is always interesting to see the stars come to the studio for special shows and the vendor promotions for product lines sold by QVC. I have yet to work anywhere that can rival the energy and up to the minute awareness of customer preferences.
Cons
Constant frenetic pace often cancels out digging in and solving lingering issues that may affect internal productivity or bringing all of the technology up to date so that applications work with later releases of IE, for example.
