Pros

Fast paced environment, every day is different, it's never boring. Always lots of events going on: celebrity meet and greets, sample sales, new product launches. There is always something going on. There is a lot of room for growth here bad opportunities to move around. Employees are encouraged to move around within the company and learn about new businesses. I felt like I was making a direct impact towards the goals of the company.

Cons

Can be really stressful, Merchandising requires a lot of extra hours depending on who you work for. Sometimes it's easy to get burned out. Work life balance can be a real challenge. Planning does a better job with work life balance initiatives than Merchandising does.

Pros

QVC is a dynamic place to work and very interesting people work there.

Cons

Working for Larry Hayes. Some would say he has too many balls in the air. Some would say he has none.
