Pros

Entry level positions available, interesting products, QVC promotes from within.

Cons

Young management is poorly trained to manage their subordinates. Most are very unprofessional and cannot lead a team. Pay is poor and training is minimal. You typically work 50+ hours a week without overtime compensation. Most departments are severely understaffed. Employee turn-over is extremely high.

Pros

Positive and friendly work environment, great-coworkers, laid back and relatively stress free. Good holiday pay.

Cons

Chances are you will absolutely not be able to afford Chester County or anywhere near it with what you're making. Factor in commuting/car costs and you will not be reimbursed. If you are one of the many on-calls don't expect to ever be made full time or be given reliable hours. Factor in very long monotonous shifts with no windows. Factor in no advancement and very little communication about what is actually going on. A lot of changes constantly without being told anything at all. Factor in feeling under appreciated. Factor in everyone around you being equally as frustrated.
