Pros

Employee discounts; Job requirements are not hard Company works hard to build a positive work environment Multiple forums for employee feedback Benefits are good for p/t and f/t employees

Cons

Metrics are king; obstacles such as slow computers, indecisive customers, or extra time to process new customers, etc., are not factored into required call time, etc. Several of us were told that our bathroom breaks were negatively afffecting the team's Lost Hours - it was suggested that we "safe" some of our 15-minute break time for a cushion for restroom visits Required hours can be problematic for those with limited availability So many people have been there 10+ years, opportunities to move out current position are very limited. I was not comfortable with the company policy that says we were not allowed to hang up on obscene callers, but must make multiple attempts to get them to order. Even after logging the caller as obscene (multiple times), the calls are allowed to go through to the reps.
