I was highly qualified for promotions but was always rejected for a 20 something with less or no experience. QVC is under the impression that the key to attracting a younger audience is to have the company run by the younger set. There’s no appreciation for the experience that comes with age. Age discrimination is rampant - don’t waste your time if you’re over 40. And if you’re lucky enough to be hired you’ll be stuck in the warehouse or the outlet - you’ll be rejected for any higher position you apply for, for a younger person with no experience. They worship youth.

So many new hires, supervisors are overloaded and can't communicate with all their subordinates.
