Pros

Work from home, that's literally the only pro.

I've worked a few different jobs over many years, and I still have nightmares from this job. They had ridiculous requirements and metrics that felt almost impossible to complete. All they cared about were upsales....I'm a customer service rep NOT a sales rep! The breaks were horrible and very short. If you had to step away for just a minute you got docked and micromanaged. One day I stepped away to use the bathroom, 2 minutes later my boss was calling me. I am way too old to be babysat at work. Management was horrible and all very rude. Often times they just leave you hanging and you have to figure it out. Also 90% of calls were from old, mean, grouchy women who just yell at you for other people's mistakes. They couldn't pay me enough to EVER work for this company again. AVOID at all costs!!!!

MANY rude customers, back to back calls everyday, average call time requirements need to be reevaluated, especially for the demographics of the customers who call in, sometimes it takes 2 minutes for them to just remember what they called about and to verbally explain the problem they are having. AHT should definitely be restructured. The motto "It starts with us" should be taken into consideration in wanting to provide the best customer service and resolve the issues the customer has THE FIRST time they call instead of having to rush them to meet AHT and then not getting their issues completely resolved because we are watching the AHT to get to next call and then customer ends up having to call back in.
