Qcells Enable is a bad place to work

Pros

The New York office attracts talented people, so you can build strong relationships with coworkers by being there. Working from home was a major perk, but rumor has it this may end soon. Room to grow within greater Qcells umbrella, which is a perk.

Cons

Management severely undervalues employees. Low pay compared to competitors, long hours with emails/messages outside of work hours often, and a toxic boss that does not appreciate his team and often puts down or yells at staff. HR is basically nonexistent.

Avoid US operation

Pros

good exposure to PV industry, benefits are nice, lower level employees are friendly and competent

Cons

Top management team in the US does not know what they are doing. Almost every decision they make is penny wise and pound foolish. They have no strategy or vision, so they spend all their time creating contradictory approval matrices and tweaking the org chart that they are too incompetent to ever finish and release. Approval process to get anything done is too time consuming and includes too many people that do not know enough about what they are approving to even add any value.

Pros

Good health insurance plan, and salary. Can’t think of anything

Cons

Very poor work environment, high turn-over rate. Very unprofessional, disrespectful and abusive management. No work-life balance at all. you will be working 60 to 70 hours a week. No appreciation for the work you do. Don’t join, take this review seriously. It’s very honest review.
