Pros

Good benefits, easy access to visa related benefits

Cons

Everything else. Poor management, toxic work culture, racism and sexism run rampant. Turnover rate is extremely high, and the company is running out of operators/engineers to hire due to nobody wanting to work here (understandably so). If you aren't able to speak/understand Korean, and refuse to work unpaid overtime, expect to be handed little to no responsibility, and treated like trash. Qcells will also pay you a lot less if you are a non-US citizen, since you don't have a choice but to keep working here. (The longevity bonus for working a DECADE here is $500.)

Pros

Great opportunity to grow within my field and learn about the industry as a whole. With the diversification and vertical integration, I get to wear a lot of different hats and see how the sausage is made. I've also made numerous friends and connections that will last throughout the rest of my career

Cons

Expectations are high, and my targets seem to be set based on what the company wants, rather than what is realistic. The downside of having our hand in so many different aspects of solar is that departments can feel siloed and isolated, especially as a salesperson.
