I returned to Qlik (2012 - 2017) after 7 years of working as a Qlik Partner (2018 - 2025)! Why? Company Culture: The "Swedish soul" of innovation, integrity, curiosity, and teamwork Global reach: There’s just something special about being part of a company that not only talks about making a difference but actually does it, and does it together as one global team. Management: Leadership does a great job to support everything I need. The people: We work as a team to solve problems, together!

Major culture shift with acquisition and new management

Pros

Used to be great, used to love going to work. The salary and work flexibility and other benefits were excellent. Great colleagues, good product, great company culture. Until the Talend acquisition and new management.

Cons

Everything started going downhill when Talend was acquired. It felt like Talend acquired Qlik and not the other way round. Managerial roles were given to Talend staff, the culture and way of working shifted a lot for the worse. It got even worse when new senior management came to town, the original Qlik values disappeared, the flexibility got very limited, the workload skyrocketed, it became unbearable to work there. People started disengaging and leaving, everybody sees it, everybody knows what is happening but nobody cares.
