In my experience, top leadership creates a consistently negative and demoralizing work environment. Favoritism is obvious, and recognition is largely limited to a small inner circle. There is little meaningful support or investment in employee growth, which makes it difficult to succeed or feel valued on the team. Leadership also tends to avoid direct conversations with most team members, engaging primarily with a select few, which limits transparency and open communication.
