Pros

Plenty of overtime available. Chances for minor advancement. Very physical active job. Time off if you can afford it. Ok clinic with 10 copayment

Cons

Management does care about you. There are no excused absences or sick days. Extremely poor employee moral. Management plays favorites. Long 12 hour shifts, operators don't always get breaks. Rotate days nights every 4 months, ends of the week every 2 months. Poor pay, poor rasises. Revolving door of new techs and temps. High insurance deductibles. No radios, only 2 20 min breaks per 12 hour shift. Management only cares numbers. Thankless job. Extreme disconnect between employee and management. They expect perfection.

Pros

The company is working hard to move up and keep going in a competitive work industry. They manage to make sure employees have decent healthcare, access to 401k plans, rehab help if needed, decent activities throughout the year like company parties, and raises if you show you can stand out and do your job well.

Cons

Delayed w-2 forums. HR issues are not always addressed in a timely matter.
