Pros

GMC is he perfect place if you want to earn experience and get expose to enterprise level technologies and design. You work with Enterprise clients on projects and get experience. They put you into training on their GMC software on day 1, and once you are good to go, you start flying all over America to work with client projects.

Cons

Extremely limited space and opportunities for internal progression. You start as a fresh grad pay, and 5 years later you are still getting fresh grad pay. Management will make up reasons to slash you whenever you ask for reasonable raise. And the best of all, The software that GMC is selling, does not work all the time, so you are playing your luck everytime you get in front of the customer to do demonstrations.

Pros

Neopost has a communicative style that lets you in on a lot of senior management activity and actions, so from this perspective it is quite good, it is clear what direction the company is going and financially, total transparency at the employee meetings. Reasonable amount of training and mentorship available, If you are good at what you do and push for visibility and guidance it is there to be had, although there are very chances to get to VP level. Benefits are good, 401k match, full health, dental etc.

Cons

The core business is under heavy pressure and is contracting, so every year, there is a constant do more with less, and minor pay increase of 1, maybe 2%. Biggest complaint is the network of old boys running the company, but it is what is, and there is not much if any room for growth beyond a reasonable amount. There are strengths in a very well run HR division, with a nice recognition program.
