Pros

The benefits are ok, and they keep employees informed about the business. They are making an effort to expand in the digital solution and software sales.

Cons

Poor management that do not believe in promoting from within mainly if you are a person of color. They have allowed too many knowledgable people to leave only to bring in inexperienced people that will be a yes man. Their way of cutting cost are laying people off, and not replacing a position when it is abandoned. They are very racist in Memphis no one if color has been promoted or holds a management or supervisor position, that's that good old boy system of the south. 30 minute break if your hourly, 1 hour for salary employees wonder why?

Pros

Large multi-national corporation with office on almost all continents. Good benefits, interesting technology, good work-life balance.

Cons

The company says they are "service-centered" company, but they are 100% sales oriented and driven. Mediocre sales rep is more valued, rewarded, and recognized than the top technical/software engineer or analyst. The top executives (VP and above) are all revenue insented with big bonuses while employees that are eligible for bonus (MBO) have majority of their bonus be driven by EBIT. Solutions are sometimes deeply discounted so the "revenue" can be shown on books even though the cost of the implemented (delivered) solution sometimes is higher than billable amount! That's just wrong from many business perspectives, except for rewarding the top executives. If numbers are short at the end 2nd quarter or end of fiscal year, layoffs/cuts are the common practice to quickly eliminate expenses and 'hit the numbers'. Lots of top-notch talent was lost due to this practice.

Pros

Neopost has a communicative style that lets you in on a lot of senior management activity and actions, so from this perspective it is quite good, it is clear what direction the company is going and financially, total transparency at the employee meetings. Reasonable amount of training and mentorship available, If you are good at what you do and push for visibility and guidance it is there to be had, although there are very chances to get to VP level. Benefits are good, 401k match, full health, dental etc.

Cons

The core business is under heavy pressure and is contracting, so every year, there is a constant do more with less, and minor pay increase of 1, maybe 2%. Biggest complaint is the network of old boys running the company, but it is what is, and there is not much if any room for growth beyond a reasonable amount. There are strengths in a very well run HR division, with a nice recognition program.
