Terrible Organizational Leadership, Infighting, and politics....Good Pay

Pros

The pay and benefits are good. The technology keeps them relevant.

Cons

Qualcomm would be out of business if it wasnt for the technology. It has amazing products, but organizational politics and archaic operating models do everything possible to drive the worst go to market operations and customer experience. In addition, the work life balance is terrible with most work being offshored requiring a 10-12 hour work day either coordinating with resources in Ireland and India or both the same day while working 5 days a week in the San Diego office.

Pros

Compensation and benefits are very good.

Cons

Complete slave factory where you can never get anything done because the entire day is consumed by mandatory meetings, everybody emails everybody without consideration, and unreasonable timelines on endless deliverables abound. It's driven by the slave labor culture brought by Indians, which are the majority of the workforce.
