Cons

Way too much management overhead, chaotic management and therefore straight course sometimes missing.

Pros

Company culture allows for moving around until you are satisfied, within reason and have to show competency of course - very nice to not feel too compartmentalized. Pay and stock/bonuses went through a lull recently but should be back on the rise. IoT immersion should create some great roles.

Cons

A little political, as I mentioned the bonuses took a nose dive recently. Also in some roles you can feel a little on your own without direction. Recently upward momentum feels a little stifled.

Pros

A leader in commercial telecommunications. Initially, Qualcomm really took care of its employees and gave them means to develop their skills. Qualcomm offered very competitive salary, health benefits, and on-the-job training.

Cons

In my opinion, Qualcomm is lagging in the innovation field. At the will of its investors, Qualcomm relies on making its majority revenue from selling its top-tier chips. Consequently, its hard to propose an R&D project that falls outside the scope of selling its integrated solutions without it being shot down. Work-life balance is skewed towards work Recent layoffs were handled poorly
