Not meeting bets to be best employer

Pros

good snacks, food, and coworkers

Cons

Pay is hardly correct. Never received any of my overtime pay- seems hard to be the best employer if you can't reimburse people correctly for their documented time. Pay is already lower to begin with compared to the rest of tech companies. While transparency is a stated value, many times it seems like transparency is not there or appreciated. You can also receive a new role and transition up in the company yet not receive the promotion to the salary that you signed a contract for with the role with for months. WARNING- just because you have a new stated salary does not mean it goes into effect- you may have to take on more responsibility and not be compensated properly until the managers put you up for promotion.

Pros

The biggest upside to this company is the highly competitive pay and RSU's

Cons

Vast majority of middle managers are hired from within and lack experience. The only real opportunity for growth is to become a manager, not much movement in the IC track. They spend money only on specific groups of people (UT, Sales) and do not allow budget for teams to meet up. Strong mormon UT culture. It's pervasive and while you think that it won't matter that much, it does, a lot.

Pros

I can honestly say that I have never sold a product that had such high CSAT and so few support issues...so you can actually focus on selling! There is great communication and supportive management.

Cons

The company continues to grow an a crazy pace and as an employee you can start to feel a little like a number. There are high growth expectations and work life balance can be a struggle if you want to make your number.
