Toxic Work Culture

Business Outlook

Pros

Work on Emerging technologies like Cloud & AI

Cons

There are various negative points, some which I have detailed below but this is not all, I have only detailed out points that directly affect employees here. I have rated this 1 star because this is the lowest glassdoor allows. 1. Immature and inexperienced team - The average experience is less than 5 years. People having 5 years work ex are designated as solution architects. So called practice leads hardly have any industry experience, average experience level of practice leads are less than 7 years. And this inexperience shows up in client deliverables. 2. Absolutely zero work life balance - Team members are expected to work till 1 am invariably and people who cannot commit these insane hours are termed as "Not fit for quantiphi culture". 3. Hire & Fire policy - They hire huge numbers of freshers from various colleges including IITs. During probation period these freshers are subject to unfair expectations and managers are literally asked to name folks at the end of probation period who should be put to an unfair PIP and subsequently terminated. 4. IIT freshers are made to do work that adds no value to their long term career, they have a role called business analyst which is nothing but a coordinator and paper pusher. 5. Experienced folks should not join because this company has no respect for that experience and treats you like a fresher, their logic "no quantiphi experience". In variably someone with 10 years of experience would be made to report to a 4 year experienced person who doesn't know how to manage and has no knowledge how world outside Quantiphi works. 6. Company has very limited independent sales capability depending heavily on partners for generating business, and lately partners are favouring larger IT services firms over likes of Quantiphi, hence business sustainability is a risk. 7. Some of the founders are outright abusive, after a call with them you would feel disrespected, any person having basic self respect should stay away from this company. 8. Invariably will not keep hiring promises - They hired from various engineering college campuses promising salaries around 6-8 LPA, however when those freshers joined the organization they converted the full time positions into internships and paid them stipend of 25000 approx. This continued for good 6 months. They did the same even for few lateral hires looking for opportunities during this tough year of 2020. 9. Top management is mediocre mostly having very limited knowledge of running large scale client deliveries. 10. Very cramped office space such that if you stretch your arms, you would hit your colleagues. To maintain social distancing in this would be very difficult. And finally most important is the culture is pure toxic in nature, average tenure of folks is just over a year.
