Pros

- wfh (16-18 hrs daily, low trust high stress environment with heavy micromanagement) hybrid model of sr folks - 2wice weekly - poor wifi and politics something to look forward to here - on site oppourtunities will be sold to you as a 'huge break' but it is a trap - high risk proposition designed to lock u in hellish projects/unrealistic clients (compensation is below market - forces u to go back to struggle days/hand to mouth sometimes in expensive cities if you get moved to US/Can/abroad with your family- with a swinging axe looming in background) - food is free for junior interns, BAs (if youre above mid-management you got to pay - quality is at par sometimes worse than avg darshini) - a generous paymaster with disclaimers compensation structures designed to give you the short end of the stick 90% of the time (= atleast 1 does get paid on time however bonuses are rigged with long clawbacks designed to sell only hope, if it does get paid out it will be prorated, dont be shocked if there is a surprise terminations before payouts) - 'overambitions and caring leadership' leaders with questionable morals, ethics just chasing vc milestones leaving tornadoes behind - modus operandi is profits > people (you may just come across many megalos / socios) (c_o = p__cop___h) - hustle culture escalates to toxic like 0-100 in 2 secs long hours with tremendous 'exposure' to cloud, AIML, data analytics projects (exposure= thrown in the deep sea without lifejackets = complete chaos) your first 3 months will be 16 hrs of chaotic upskilling with random modules and skill dev with no method to the madness) - 'out and out policy' keeps you on your toes. quarterly performance rating mechanism rigged to churn out high expense folks on payroll, once talent is extracted to burnout levels, dont be surprised if there is a silent layoff. career progression usually seen: SE > SSE > ATA > TA > pinkslip. (churn flywheel robustly in place by powers that be, if u make it past 0.8 months - 2 Y - congrats.. you are among 1 in 25 that endured corporate snakes n ladders and favoritism ;) u can expect some stability post that)

Cons

-16/18 hrs work days (9 hrs is only on paper, misleading) over 250+ reviews of lack of work life balance - fact check it - beware of fake +ve reviews across forums (very misleading and false façade designed by pr/hr) - say bye bye to family, time with ur kids, friends n social life/hobbies - heads seem unhappy but stuck/helpless with huge ESOPs and only motivated by for their payday and IPO - young impressionable talent trained to sell iron as gold :/ u ll need to call a spade a spade - not great for clients n repeat business . wake up - dont be surprised if BTech/Bachelors folks from tier 3/2 Universities rule the roost of country's leading PhDs/Bschool Tier 1 talent from ISB, NMIMS, XLRs, IIM, IIT with same years of work experience when you get on the inside - favoritism is rampant ('inner circle' has steering meetings of who stays/goes/gets promoted = zero meritocracy. largely driven by pleasing leads) - bulk hire n fire: very careless management just pleasing investor lords. 3800 workforce is now 3000 odd due to finance led 'optimizations' - avg. tenure is 0.8 months - 12 months - fact check it
