Going downhill!!!

Pros

Wonderful coworkers and meaningful work, but there’s not much else that was positive about working for Quantum Health.

Cons

Work-life balance is non-existent due to the sheer amount of work required to be successful in the role. Leadership is severely lacking and often dismissive. Salary was laughable considering the demands of the job and the travel requirements. The company has been going downhill for quite some time and recently nosedived.

Pros

PTO is the best I've seen. 3 weeks in the first year, 4 weeks after 1 year. The work is not too difficult. Some direct leadership is very supportive and promote work/life balance. Hybrid is great. Holidays and weekends off.

Cons

CONSTANT turnover. Nurses cycle through like crazy. Leads to high workloads for some, while others seem to have very easy work loads. Doesn't feel well-balanced. The communication of important information happens last minute. The quality they want you to have is perfection. I have never been graded like this on my work. The things you are marked off for change often, and we aren't updated often with what those changes are. It's more like, take off points for things we want you to start doing, instead of discussing before taking points off. And, it's definitely a big reason why people leave. It makes a lot of nurses feel like they aren't good nurses. Which, is far from the truth. They say they want feedback, but the things that are talked about don't ever seem to get fixed. More work is added on without addressing the issues Nurses bring up all the time. It feels unsupportive. Why give feedback if it's not taken seriously. "We hear you and we are working on it" That's the consistent message. No shift differential for evening shifts. We were told there are always opportunities to move positions, but since August of 2024, there have been maybe 2 postings for different positions that required very specific experience and it feels like you're stuck in your position.

Pros

-Free Snacks and competitive Pay

Cons

-No Growth opportunities.. overall there's not much growth, it's very misled. The growth there is.. you have to be a managers favorite.. it doesn't matter if you're good at your job or not. Business has zero transparency with its staff and constantly realigns and shifts it's focuses due to having a tenuous grasp on what's going on in reality.
