Pros

Good 401K plan. You get to leave at the end of the day.

Cons

Low pay; very little cohesion between the head quarter and the other large Quest plants. Politics of the one-size-fits all has considerably affected the satellite companies, particularly those specializing in esoteric testing. Bullying occurs often and is not addressed seriously by HR. At equivalent competencies, titles and performances, women are often paid 20% less than their maie counterpart and need to achieve twice as much to be promoted.

Pros

Good on the good days, pay is "decent" with overtime.

Cons

Overworked everyday in the night shift, Complaints everyday. other departments never want to cooperate with each other making the work load get backed up or blamed on someone else. Never have time do anything in the day but sleep because you're gonna be on your feet all night.

Pros

My development team was my only life line while working here. Without them I would have never made it as long as I did. If you align yourself with the right people you can advance. You do have the availability to work from home. The medical and vacation benefits were good.

Cons

The political games run rampant. There is no work-life balance. Expect to work around 60 hours, plus having a release every Friday night and being on call all weekend. New and innovative ideas are squashed, you are just supposed to do as your told. There is no opportunity to learn. The mangers stay in their glass offices and don't interact with the team, so they will never know what is going on, but complain that nothing is getting done.
