      Medical, dental benefits, and 401K offered

      Cons

      Even with a new CEO and yet another reorganization, Quest Diagnostics is a miserable failure. This once great company is in a nose-dive and will crash. Its only hope is to be bought out. I have never witnessed so much chaos and incompetence.

      Very large company with opportunities for upward movement, if you are good at politics, and can talk your way through a spreadsheet; sprinkle in some six sigma principles to cover up mistakes - results are measured through likability, and NOT accountability. Sales driven environment, but be careful with comps, as they are often decreased to make up for regional losses....

      Cons

      Operations is a chase after your own tail environment; Chaotic, Erratic, Drama field, which is extremely disorganized, and reflects on the quality of patient care and service. Still managed from the Top down (zero leadership or accountability) at the exempt levels - non-exempts work more with less, as there are too many subsideries to effectively support in an 8 hour day (if you are lucky to work an 8 hour day), Fear of reprisal is deeply imbedded and encouraged to influence production. Benefits are rapidly changing to make up for poor financial forecasting, attrition, and lack of reimbursement from United Health Care.
