1.Constantly changing how they do awardco and bonuses for store leaders.
2.Not staffed enough to help customers in events of problems but can’t have more people on site because there “isn’t enough cars.”
3. You get stuck working with bad workers. It takes forever for Quick Quack to fire people and then you’re stuck with the load. You have to have someone recognize the behavior then wait for it to happen again then they finally get a pif but then the pif goes away in 6 months. Store leaders need more freedom with this.
4.Creepy maintenance workers. Quick Quack hires a bunch of teenagers as well so you can guess how that goes.
5. High turn over rate. I think some of it has to do with store leaders not being supported enough so then the load goes on the asl’s and team members as well as when you have team members dragging their feet when they should be getting fired yeah it’s a lot.
6. Regionals. They don’t have enough time to support Store leaders and some of them haven’t even worked as a Store Leader or ASL so they genuinely don’t know what goes on day to day and they can’t spend enough time here to find out. I’ve heard a regional tell a store leader, “Well what could you have done differently in this situation?” When the situation wasn’t their fault and the result of another person and yet you’re victim blaming the Store Leader?
7.Can be physically demanding
8. The way they do coverage and sick/vacation time sucks, so when you are sick sometimes it’s hard to get coverage and you have to go in still because then it’s on you.
9. No AirPods allowed even when in pond doing trashes, vacuums, or towels. They don’t even let you just keep 1 in. It’s understandable in the showroom but definitely adds boredom to the job.
10. Brings me to my next point the job gets boring and repetitive.
11. You can’t see cars at night when loading, they shine their high beams in your face and there’s no sign that says turn them off.
12. Quick Quack isn’t hard enough on the ones that need it and too hard on the good workers. Sometimes people have bad days and you need to back off and realize all it is is an off day. It definitely happens and a lot more than you’d think.
13. Quick Quack wants money. At the end of the day the decisions they make will be ones that make them more money. Like handing out dash wipes. They don’t want us to because they get more money but don’t inform customers so now we the store and workers get bad reviews and attitude because they aren’t informed. And it takes a while informing all customers of the change. It’s the same reason we now work Sundays, people complained and they wanted more money. It’s a company at the end of the day and you have to remember that.
14. The way they train sometimes will make you want to pull your hair out. They don’t have a solid way and prefer so put you in front of a computer screen or let you figure it out with booklets that are full of information so yes you will have to rummage through all the pages till you find what you’re looking for.
