Pros

If you don't have a college degree but have a solid work ethic and love people, this is the place for you. The really do deliver in terms of opportunity for promotions and good wages. You will meet some of the most interesting people ever and grow as a person. It use to have lousy work-life balance, but they created the partial shift system that allows you to get extra days off without any penalty (except lost wages).

Cons

You have to move to advance (unless you get hired in one of the newer markets). They hardly ever fire people, so sometimes you may get stuck working for those managers just good enough not to get fired but not good enough to get promoted.

Great pay, bonuses, vacation time, sick pay available.

Cons

Depending on clerks to do their job so you can get promoted. Most of the clerks are in school so they only want to come to work and play.

A schedule as a Relief Assistant Manager is extremely hard to get used to.

The starting pay is decent with dollar advances every year for 3 years, good benefits

Cons

Again the schedule is hard. working an evening shift, two overnight shifts, a "day" off to go to work the next morning and sunday morning. Then you get monday off to start it all over agian.
