Pros

A fantastic place full of fantastic people. I joined Qumulo 1-year into the pandemic and have felt like a valued member of my team since day one. The folks here truly care about what they do and it shows. Everyday at Qumulo presents the opportunity to make impactful decisions that have tangible effects on the business.

Cons

Qumulo has a self-directed work culture so one has to be comfortable stepping up when needed while also maintaining personal boundaries

Pros

I was hired as a temporary employee in January 2020 before the pandemic. Many of my peers struggled with job insecurity when the pandemic first took hold in Seattle. Qumulo brought me on full-time and made sure I was taken care of. My manager is someone I'm truly proud to know - and is the biggest contributor to why working at Qumulo is so great! My coworkers are patient and understanding, but know how to have fun. I've come to appreciate many of our company values, especially to share by default. The company's trust in employees extends to respect, something that I hope never changes about Qumulo. There's plenty of opportunity for me to grow, even after almost 3 years-- looking forward to spending more time here.

Cons

It can take time to get used to the Qumulo style. A lot of my work depends on self-accountability and/or making sure I set appropriate work-life boundaries. Someone without these skills may struggle to feel comfortable with the workflow.
