There's a strong emphasis on autonomy when choosing what to work on. Most teams are 'project driven' and can disband at the conclusion of a strategic project giving everyone an opportunity to find something new to work on. Strong emphasis on trying to do the right things.

Cons

This isn't the right environment for everyone. As mentioned in the pros, there's strong emphasis on being self-directed and finding the right things to work on; you won't necessarily be told what you should be working on which can make it difficult for some engineers.

Pros

Able to move up different departments with material job responsibilities changes. Promises actually are realized. Engineering organization is the best I have ever worked with; and every day is a learning opportunity. Company actually listens to employee feedback and issues/improvements are clearly communicated.

Cons

Pay was lower than expected; but hard to compare to Amazon/Facebook. Recent improvements in pay have brought us to comparable levels.
