Pros

it was a good paying job for the area that I live in. I made a few good friends that I enjoyed working with. that's about all.

Cons

management treats you like your just a body to produce work. there is no real open door policy. round table meeting to hear ideas but nothing ever gets implemented. upper management so afraid of losing their jobs that they walk around looking for people to fire. trying to meet deadlines they work their employees 7 days a week and no appreciation. when I started in 06 they used to have employee picnics pizza parties, needless to say that got scratched out the budget.

Pros

Very good pay. Most of the people are not bad to work with and three half hour breaks in an eight hour shift.

Cons

Very long hours!!! 12 hour shifts constantly and a lot of working weekends. It leaves no time to spend with your family.

Pros

The amount of work required is often flexible. During slower periods you can give away your overtime or take others if they do not want it. It is often slow enough that there is no overtime and people will ask for any that may come your way. The work is somewhat physically demanding, but after awhile it becomes second nature and is not too terrible.

Cons

The printed medium is becoming more and more outdated as people digitally transfer their subscriptions of magazines or book purchases to their tablets. This is leading to the cutting of jobs and those left employed are having to singly do what 4 or 5 years ago multiple people did. During the busy periods you will often be at work more than anywhere else with plenty of forced overtime.
