      Stable job predictable paycheck Work from home

      Cons

      Low pay, understaffed, poor upper leadership. Projects are often expected to be "pushed" to the business by low ranking IT when it should be embraced by leadership and introduced to the business at the higher levels so that IT doesn't need to fight with the business to adapt to the new tech. Lack of staff and projects fall behind? Leadership says, "You're just not trying hard enough."

      Other than the fact that you have a job, everyone work in their silos

      Cons

      Many in the leadership position are there for 20 - 30 years, a large majority for over 10 years. They are unempathetic and don't hear their employees even when you have a 1-on-1 setup. Generally, people are good but the culture sucks them in and don't see beyond their every day activity.
