Pros

Nice team, family orientated, friendly, great work life balance

Cons

Most Markets and deadlines are relating to overseas markets and due to time difference, you end up staying late to match their work schedule, especially at month end reporting times. HFM system is incredibly slow, very frustrating, as most reports need to be uploaded online. No growth in the role, once you learn it, there is no where to go from there. Very repetative

Good People, but way to many steps to get stuff done

Pros

The people are great to work with, very professional atmosphere. The best printing in the area, no doubt about it.

Cons

There is no reason to work any harder than what you are already are as there are no appreciation for the things that you do, to even get a raise it takes forever as it needs to go through the Corporate ladder. Way too many unnecessary steps involved to even get a single job in. The company could definitely run better if they did not have one department do other departments jobs.

Great company with divergent processes/business lines to work with

I have been working with RR Donnelley for 10 years and I have no doubt in saying that this is one of the best company to work with. They pay decent salaries and consistent hike every year. There are divergent business lines and processes in RRD. But, outside world knows RRD only for Printing business or graphic design. Even most of the current employees also doesn't know that RRD provides financial outsourcing and software services too. So, it is very vague to read the reviews here and decide whether to join RRD. It is better for you to check with people who in the division where you are going to join and then decide. If you don't know someone like that, please join and explore. After all, the notice period is just 2 months. But, as an experienced employee in RRD, I suggest people to join this company end experience best culture, decent pay, meet professional managers and above all an open environment where everyone allowed to express their views freely.

Cons

Growth is very slow but they pay hikes (though less when compared to industry) consistently every year.
