Pros

There are good people at almost every place of employment. You can some find good people who work at RRD.

Cons

If you are able to then you should stay away from the company. RR Donnelley has not been profitable in recent years and this is a reflection of the leadership at all levels. Benefits can be categorized as at the lowest / minimum level. Most employees pay significant out of pocket costs. RRD is a leader in all forms of discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, age, disability, religion, and veteran status. From the first day at RR Donnelley, and all the years in-between, the company culture perpetuates negative and oppressive atmospheres of intimidation and exclusion.

Pros

some very nice people, interesting products. good brand

Cons

plants are hard to work with, outdated software and systems using windows 2007, estimating system is outdated. i was belittled when i didn't pick up some things quickly and my training was spotty . overall a lack of respect for me. and the pay is not competitive. RRD should hire someone to develop an engagement program, perhaps then they will listen more. as i write this i have worked 13 days in a row. yeah i am salaried. and make a coordinator salary.
