Pros
Working independently and making your own decisions. Fellow maintenance co-workers were great to work with. Plenty of room for your experience to grow. When it was a slow day you relaxed and waited for a service call on a machine.
Cons
Babysat operators who didn't want to do their own jobs on operating the machines. Some tried and had actual mechanical issues with the machines, Others just wanted to sit on their butt and have someone else to their job for them. Management across the board was a total mess. No communication, poor leadership, Didn't act on any concerns from employees. Never had bonuses, Benefits are not that good, Doesn't match 401k.
