      Not what I expected

      Pros

      At R2 you will learn the basics of the transportation industry. If you need experience talking with strangers on the phone, you will get that here because you will be answering and making calls all day. Turnover is extremely high.

      Cons

      During my interview with the branch manager and speaking with HR before my first day, there was no mention about working nights and weekends, so I was quite surprised when that came up after I started working. Also, working 50+ hours a week for only $32k is a bit low. The work you do can get boring because you say the same thing on the phone all day. I felt that the atmosphere inside the office was immature and at times quite disrespectful.

      Pros

      R2 is a very family oriented company. They have the Employees best interest at heart. I can come in to work and actually enjoy my job, I don't dread it like I have with past jobs. I'm able to voice my opinion to my superiors and know that the issues or concerns I have are being looked into.

      Cons

      At this moment, I have no Cons with my job.

      Pros

      I love everything about my job. The atmosphere is amazing. They understand you are here to do work, but at the same time know that you need to have fun too. They strongly encourage team outings and we even have one once a quarter! My healthcare plan is AMAZING!! Upper management treats you like you are valued versus other jobs where they just brush over you. They give you the freedom to come up with new ideas and ways of doing processes that would make the company more efficient.

      Cons

      There are no Cons that I can think of. They do everything they can to communicate and ensure your career goals are met.
