Pros

Upper management is often confused and fails to deliver a clear focused strategy. They dream up, then enforce new expectations almost daily. Then a few weeks pass and we are on to their next genius idea. It creates a chaotic work environment.

Cons

Besides the obvious short comings of upper management and ownership, the company just had a round of massive layoffs. Many employees are questioning R2's financial viability.

No "massive" layoffs have occurred at R2 Logistics. In fact, our employee headcount has increased every year since the company's inception. As far as company financials, we have never been healthier. All our key indicators have grown in 2015. In addition, the company owner also reinvested $1.9MM back into the company for growth initiatives.

Pros

There honestly aren't any pros. I guess if I am forced to 20 words minimum I can say that it is a job. A very poor paying job, but a job none the less.

Cons

I really wish there was an option for a negative star. This is by far the worst ran company I have ever been a part of. Upper management could care less about you as a person. You are a body in a chair. For a company this size, they really operate like a small start-up company. Don't take a job with them. I promise you that it will not be what they say it is, and you will regret it.

R2 Logistics is on pace to be a 100 million dollar company after only eight years of business! As we’ve grown, and added new offices, promotions have only come from within the company and given employees new opportunities. The company also issues monthly awards with bonuses for those who are excelling in their positions.

It was a job and some of the people were fun to work with. Insurance rates were okay as well.

Cons

Micro management. Long hours where you have to sit down at your desk and be tied to a phone all day long. The transportation industry is full of lying people and companies and I truly feel like this company fits right in. Don't expect anything but to be used and then discarded from R2.

As the company continues to grow there have and will continue to be changes that will be made. We understand this sometimes can be frustrating, but changes are necessary to stay competitive with industry trends.
