Nice people, great benefits, zero vision among leadership

Pros

Benefits package is excellent, as is pay. Lots of interesting policy work to sink your teeth into

Cons

Awful HR dept, no visionary leadership, very little concern for return on investment. Committed to the status quo despite saying otherwise (very frustrating for employees with strong work ethic and vision)

Pros

Great people to work with, supervisors are friendly and flexible if you have other work commitments, upper management offers constructive feedback, and training for projects. Sometimes they even offer food, depending on the project.

Cons

Employment is project-based so if there are no projects to work on, guess who doesn't get paid? TSC interviewers, that's who. It's tough getting any more than 12-24 hours a week here! On a generous work week I was able to work 30 hours, but that was as much as I was ever able to work here in a given week for the 8 months I worked there.
