Pros

You meet some genuinely nice people

Cons

No raises, they then insult your intelligence by offering *merit bonuses* which are only a % of your never changing salary as if that somehow ever equates to more money. The bonuses are also heavily taxed as the company dispenses them as a separate paycheck. Management is an utter dumpster fire, turn over rate is ridiculously high, upper management could care less

CDI does provide a merit bonus program to recognize and reward performance, coupled with an annual review of base rates making market adjustments where necessary. We do have a responsibility to follow tax rules, which does mean bonuses are provided in a separate paycheck and taxed as necessary according to state and federal laws. We do care a great deal about associate retention and engagement. We conduct exit interviews with anyone voluntarily leaving the organization, with the goal to see if there are things we can do better or differently going forward to create the best possible experience for our associates. We also look at turnover rates monthly, and partner with the leaders on action plans to address any trends or specific suggestions identified.

Pros

You can come in and do whatever you’d like with no reprocusions for your actions.

Cons

Management is awful. Lots of gossip and backstabbing in the AR department. CDI currently just needs “bodies” to fill in for all full time employees leaving. There are no raises and health insurance offered is lot great.

Thank you for your feedback. We offer three different health insurance plan options to meet a variety of associate needs. We have a new network provider in 2019, which allowed us to reduce the premiums on two of our three plan options and provides a number of new features for our associates. In addition to base pay, we offer variable reward programs, including a merit bonus program to recognize performance. We currently have one opening on the Account Rep team, have weekly meetings with each Account Rep to identify priorities and assignments for the week, and we have a new manager in place who is setting up metrics and implementing other improvements for the team.

Pros

Solid management team, good-hearted and hard-working people working at the company. Good work life balance and time off benefits. Good mission, focused largely on the patient care and experience.

Cons

PE ownership has been very stingy about employee compensation with almost no raises for the last 3 years. Aren't up with the times in terms of a changing competitive employee market, and lost a lot of good, experienced people. This made it harder and harder to the job.

Thank you for writing a review! We also believe in our leadership, the associates on our team, and the mission we serve. In the last three years, we did change our compensation philosophy to one that includes a merit bonus plan based on individual and company performance instead of a traditional annual merit increase. When the company does well that is shared with our teams. In addition to that merit bonus program, we continue to review our wages against market rates and make adjustments where needed.
