RCR is lightning in a bottle. It took me a few minutes to really think about the perfect headline in how I feel about working here, but it’s truly that... magic.
As a working single parent, prioritizing a work/life balance was essential when looking for the next chapter in my career. Coming from an elevated role, I really wanted the best of both worlds. Being able to fill up my cup professionally, learn, grow, build relationships, be a part of a team, learn new systems, strategies, and all the things.... AND still be able to go to the school function of the month! I honestly went through a year of trying to find a company that respected that part of my life, and felt so discouraged in thinking there was anything out there like that, UNTIL RCR.
RCR is just that... and I believe it’s our secret sauce. Go do the thing, if you are on top of your stuff and getting your work accomplished, you really can have it all. Plus they encourage you to do so.
Heather and Andy at the helm, are without a doubt the greatest people I have ever worked for. They genuinely care about your well-being and value you as a member of the organization. You know that feeling you get when someone is genuinely curious about you... I have ALWAYS felt the sincerity from both of them.
Heather amazes me every single day. Her knowledge is just astounding, and she truly has thought of every single detail when it comes to the ins and outs of her business. She’s just an incredible person bursting with knowledge, and I feel lucky that I get to work for her. It’s very valuable when you are able to have a connection with your leader and it goes without saying how she treats her staff. Just chef’s kiss!
Coming from big wig, large corporations, I won’t lie, I had my hesitation in joining a smaller company. From day one with onboarding and training, I was amazed by the intention and thoughtfulness around learning. Even with an expected learning curve, encouragement and guiding was there…but with ease. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the team, but Jen as the Recruitment Guru is one of the best parts about working at RCR, and I feel lucky to be on her team. From the helm, to each pod of HR professionals, I feel immersed in learning something new every day. It starts with Heather’s vision, and it flows into each manager and onward into each team. That lighting travels!
I wake up, and feel excited to go to work. I know I feel supported, valued, and get to connect with our wonderful clients. We have a variety of clients and systems and weaving them in and out of them throughout my day is the best part. No day feels stagnant or similar from all the industries. The environment is collaborative, structured, and so much fun. I really don't have a con. If there is an issue or something that needs another set of eyes, we talk about it. Communication is at the core of who we are.
