Pros

How NOT to run a company.

Cons

Corporate Members don't care for the lower level workers. All are replaceable as far as they go. There is abnormal amounts of irrational individuals that run the company. They all act on emotion instead of having conversations with people. It is all based on "he said-she said" scenarios. It is difficult to trust anyone including the HR department.. If you don't fit in with the "cool kids" that are present there...you will find yourself being replaced before you can blink.

Pros

Very easy to get hired in. Really nice co-workers at the call centers. Good pay for the area.

Cons

I thoroughly enjoyed working as a TSR, but I would never work for this particular company again. The training was intense, and caused burn out to some candidates, needlessly. Once you're tossed out "on to the floor" to begin the actual work, you're inundated with constant pressure to perform, to "close the sale". Unfortunately, your ability to do so is not something that you will be able to control, to a large extent. It was an almost daily occurrence to see / hear someone crying. That in itself says pretty much everything. You're told you'll be "full time" if you work 6 days a week, but you will still get less than 40 hours of pay. You're told if you're full time you'll get paid holidays, health insurance, and all other kinds of goodies. What you aren't told is that the holiday pay will probably not apply to you, and the insurance will cost half of your pay check. The employee manual won't tell you half the things you need to know, and what it does spell out isn't adhered to. When I demanded an explanation of why I wasn't paid for a holiday when the manual said I would be, I was told "well we've changed that, guess we need to update the manual". You think?

Pros

There is free coffee in the break room, and some of the employees are cool. It pays a little better than minimum wage.

Cons

Overall working here was a very negative experience. Members of the leadership team use foul language, and that sets the tone for the entire organization. I was informed on short notice that I would be required to work a weekend when I had already told my supervisor a week before that I would not be able to work that weekend. Things are constantly changing, and you never know from one day to the next how a given situation will play out. There are a lot of workplace rumors, and management members date employees; if it doesn't work out, the fallout can be toxic.
