This job is just not worth it at the end of the day. You literally work for pennies. Jobs pay less than .09 per item scanned, mostly between .03 and .07 per item. You will never get a raise, only way to make more money is to get more jobs, but there's never any extra work if you ask. Work is very inconsistent. At the beginning of the quarters there's more work, but most weeks you'll work less than 10 hours a week. Management is practically non-existent, but my lead will poach jobs from the other associates in the area, claiming they need to hit their minimum of 32 hours a week. Don't even think about career advancement. There's never any openings and even if you show interest, management doesn't acknowledge it or care you want to move up in the company. Training is inconsistent among leads, and they'll all claim they're doing it the right way, and the other person is wrong. My current lead is doing her collections wrong, and lying about it because she's lazy and cuts for corners to finish faster. If the job paid more, it would be worth it, but right now spare your mental health and find a better job.
